Parent and Student Education

Dr. Taylor and the Learning Specialists staff provide presentations to parent groups at no charge in venues such as Coffee Chats, PTO meetings, and Parent Nights. We also attend college fairs and provide Question & Answer opportunities for students and parents. Dr. Taylor serves as the treasurer of the Florida Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and as a Member-at-Large on the international board of IDA. Through these positions, Dr. Taylor participates in the IDA mission of providing educational programs on reading disabilities to parents, educators, and community leaders throughout the state of Florida.
