Edward C. Taylor, P.hD.
Edward C. Taylor, P.hD. is a Child and Adolescent Psychologist who has provided services to the Northeast Florida communities since 1984. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1980 and completed both an internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Kansas University School of Medicine. Currently, he is in private practice. Previously, he held faculty appointments with the Kansas University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and the University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. He is on the Board of Directors of the International Dyslexia Association.
Susan Talley
Susan Talley is a reading specialist that has been working for The Learning Specialists since 2001. Susan enjoys working with children, and strives to relate to them and a way they can understand and enjoy. Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Education from William Carey University in 1987, and her Master of Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2000.
Louise Morrow
Louise Morrow has over 30 years experience in education as a coach, teacher, mentor and administrator. She holds an undergraduate degree in Education and Masters Degree in Supervision/Administration.
Louise is a qualified learning specialist in reading intervention (LiPs and Wilson), learning strategies and verbal test prep.
Anita Jarrett
Anita was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and moved to Florida when she was six. She spent 15 years living in California before moving back to Jacksonville in 2004. Anita has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a master’s degree in special education from University of Wisconsin in Madison. She has worked with students with varying disabilities in both Duval County and St. Johns County School Districts. Anita is a certified ESE, math, and language arts teacher, as well as reading specialist. At TLS she currently tutors students in reading, math, learning strategies, and test preparation.
